Section through courtyard on the side of the house. New doors are being installed allowing access from the kitchen/dining room in to the garden. An oval reclaimed brick terrace will be laid under the existing crab apple tree with the rest of the area planted. A beech hedge with a habitat wall in the middle will enclose the courtyard. We are aiming for a really wild courtyard. Above the existing drystone wall a pond will be created with an overhanging oak deck.
