“We Love The Garden. You Are A Superb Designer.”

Initial drawing for gardens around outbuilding and manor house. With the main house and outbuilding being developed the garden was a blank canvas. The brief was for a formal gothic garden with lots of scent, privacy and structure. The garden is enclosed on all sides with beautiful walling and has some beautiful views across Box and the park. The front gardens were replanted with new chestnut cleft fencing installed.
The topiary we carefully planted along the cobbled path gradually becomes smaller as one moves further along, and simultaneously, the path itself becomes narrower, which serves to accentuate the perspective of this beautiful garden. Halfway down the well-trodden path, a charming rose arbor features prominently, creating a lovely focal point in the garden. This picturesque spot is also where the paths intersect, offering convenient access to the walled garden on the right and an inviting formal lawn on the left.
